It's taken a while to get this together and it ain't going to win awards but it gives a basic idea of the site. It was quite light and lumpy and heavily inverted as per normal in winter. In summer it's not difficult to get 800m+ above takeoff. I think we got all of 200m up on this day.

With Manu and Gary Goss at World's View yesterday. Heavily inverted and quite lumpy but good to get in the air!

June 30th - soaring in conditions as good as one gets at this site. There are worse ways to spend a Sunday afternoon!

A grey day soaring at the D**e - but at least I flew! Surprisingly good with some very weak but widespread lift and two augur buzzards to follow.

This is the Honde Valley looking south. See that steep "hill" in the middle distance? We used to take off from there. Amazingly nobody got hurt before we realized it was a bit stupid.

Same flight as previous. This time looking north whilst setting up for landing.

A rather poor screen grab from my new Drift Innovation - my fault but one has to learn somehow! World's View on Monday 8/8, best lift 5,9m/s. That's Mt Inyangani top left horizon. Connemara Lakes foreground.
Note to self: remember gloves next time you fly. Really not fun at 3100m at World's View without them!
