شاركت دولة الإمارات في أعمال الاجتماع العام الـ 44 لمجموعة أوراسيا لمكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب (EAG) في تركمانستان، مؤكدة التزامها بتعزيز التعاون الدولي وتبادل الخبرات ودعم الجهود المشتركة لحماية نزاهة واستقرار النظام المالي العالمي.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار عضوية الدولة بصفة مراقب لدى المجموعة، وحرصها على مواصلة دعم المبادرات الفنية وبناء القدرات وتعزيز التنسيق بين الجهات المختصة لمواجهة مخاطر غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب وتمويل انتشار التسلّح.

The United Arab Emirates participated in the 44th Plenary of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (EAG) in Turkmenstan, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening international cooperation, exchanging expertise, and supporting joint efforts to safeguard the integrity and stability of the global financial system.

The participation comes as part of the UAE’s observer membership in the EAG and reflects its continued support for technical assistance, capacity-building, and coordination among competent authorities to address the risks of money laundering, terrorist financing, and the financing of weapons proliferation

أكد سعادة حامد سيف الزعابي، رئيس مجموعة العمل المالي لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا "مينافاتف" خلال مشاركته عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي في ورشة العمل الإقليمية حول غسل عائدات جريمتي الاتجار في البشر وتهريب المهاجرين باستخدام الأصول الافتراضية، أهمية تعزيز التعاون الدولي وتطوير أدوات التتبع والتحليل المالي لمواجهة التهديدات المتنامية المرتبطة بالأصول الافتراضية والتقنيات المالية الحديثة.

وأشار سعادته إلى أن مواجهة الجرائم المالية الناشئة لم تعد تقتصر على تطوير التشريعات والأطر التنظيمية، بل تعتمد بصورة أساسية على رفع مستوى الفعالية التشغيلية، وبناء القدرات المتخصصة، وتعزيز التكامل بين الجهات الرقابية وأجهزة إنفاذ القانون ووحدات المعلومات المالية.

H.E. Hamid Saif AlZaabi, President of the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF), stressed during his participation via video conference in the Regional Workshop on Laundering the Proceeds of Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Crimes through Virtual Assets, the importance of strengthening international cooperation and enhancing financial tracking and analysis tools to address the growing threats associated with virtual assets and modern financial technologies.

He noted that addressing emerging financial crimes is no longer limited to developing legislation and regulatory frameworks, but increasingly depends on enhancing operational effectiveness, building specialized capacities, and strengthening integration among supervisory authorities, law enforcement agencies, and financial intelligence units.
