First Aid Training for Non-Healthcare Professionals (Heartsaver First Aid Courses)

UniTeam Medical has emerged as the provider of choice for first aid training to non-clinical personnel, having demonstrated a high level of expertise in the delivery and management of certified training programs to meet international standards and UAE regulatory requirements. We are fully compliant with Occupational Safety and Health Abu Dhabi (OSHAD) and the Environment Health and Safety Management System regulatory framework. UniTeam Medical offers a selection of first aid training courses suitable for any industry.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) for Healthcare Professionals

Our philosophy toward developing and delivering CME courses is to utilize evidence-based practice to enhance knowledge and standards which in turn improve patient outcomes. As a licenced CME provider with HAAD, UniTeam Medical not only offers participants high quality, relevant CME, but we ensure our courses are accredited by HAAD for CME-hours.

We are seen as an innovator and a leader in medical professional development programs in the UAE and can offer customized CME courses and public CME courses at any one of our three training centres, designed to suit the professional needs of healthcare personnel. Through our in-house Planning, Development and Review team we are able to develop CME sessions which are responsive to current world events.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

UniTeam Medical’s CPD courses have been designed for both clinical and non-clinical participants working in the healthcare industry. We offer a selection of courses designed to provide participants with the tools to communicate effectively in an international environment; courses designed to find a common language which transcends cultural boundaries in the multicultural work space. Enhancing these communication skills builds confidence among healthcare providers and end-users (customers, patients, and families) through the ability to interact and communicate information during challenging and emotional situations commonly found in the healthcare industry.

Tactical Trauma Training

Leveraging off our parent company’s international experience in tactical and military medicine, UniTeam Medical has established itself as a subject matter expert in the area of tactical trauma training and military field medical training. Our courses range from basic first aid and combat life support through to a basic level Emergency Medical Technician courses and our very own E4T program. The E4T course is the only one of its kind in the world, and teaches the concepts of Tactical Medicine, Trauma Management, Triage Assessment, Medical Evacuation and Transport of critically-ill patients. UniTeam Medical has received local and international accreditation for our tactical medical training and disaster management courses.

In particular, our E4T and Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosives Courses have received accreditation from the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine, and by HAAD for CME hours.

Our tactical training courses have been developed using expert tactical medical practitioners and industry specialists in the military and emergency medical field, and are aimed at training both military and civilian Emergency Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics and EMTs.
