เมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๙ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอาบูดาบี ได้จัดงานเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี ในรัชกาลที่ ๗ เนื่องในโอกาสที่องค์การการศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ และวัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNESCO) ได้ประกาศยกย่องพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจในวาระครบ ๑๐๐ ปี ณ ที่ทำการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยมีนายพลพงศ์ วังแพน เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอาบูดาบี เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ หน่วยงานทีมประเทศไทยในรัฐอาบูดาบี คู่สมรส ตลอดจนพสกนิกรชาวไทยเข้าร่วมโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน

นอกจากนั้น สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้รับเกียรติจากนางสาว Valentina Bernasconi หัวหน้าคณะผู้แทนของคณะกรรมการกาชาดระหว่างประเทศ (ICRC) ประจำสหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ เข้าร่วมงานด้วย เพื่อร่วมยกย่องเชิดชูพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจในด้านการศึกษา การพัฒนาสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน และความเสมอภาคทางเพศ ตามประกาศของ UNESCO

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ผู้เข้าร่วมพิธีได้ถวายความเคารพ ณ เบื้องหน้าพระฉายาลักษณ์สมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณีฯ และร่วมสวดพระพุทธมนต์และเจริญจิตภาวนา เพื่อน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณและพระราชจริยวัตรอันงดงามที่ทรงบำเพ็ญพระราชกรณียกิจเพื่อประโยชน์สุขแห่งพสกนิกรชาวไทยตลอดพระชนม์ชีพ

On 22 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi held a Commemorative Ceremony in Honour of Her Late Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Rama VII, on the occasion of UNESCO’s recognition of the 100th anniversary of Her Late Majesty’s legacy in education, sustainable social development, and gender equality. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Bolbongse Vangphaen, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates, with the participation of Embassy officials, members of Team Thailand in Abu Dhabi, their spouses, and the Thai community in the United Arab Emirates.

Ms. Valentina Bernasconi, Head of Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the United Arab Emirates, honoured the ceremony with her presence and paid tribute to Her Late Majesty’s lifelong dedication and work. She also commended Thailand’s longstanding contribution to the humanitarian tradition, as well as its continued commitment to humanitarian action.

On this occasion, participants paid their respects before the portrait of Her Late Majesty and joined in Buddhist prayer and meditation to express profound remembrance of Her Late Majesty’s grace and virtuous royal conduct, as well as Her Late Majesty’s enduring devotion to the well-being of the Thai people.
