‎اعتمدت المنظمة الأوروبية لجمال الخيول العربية “إيكاهو” ترقية بطولة الفجيرة الدولية لجمال الخيل العربية إلى فئة “A”، في خطوة جديدة تعكس المكانة العالمية الرائدة التي تواصل دولة الإمارات ترسيخها في دعم ورعاية الخيل العربية الأصيلة، وتعزيز حضورها المؤثر في مختلف المحافل والمنظمات الدولية المتخصصة، بما يجسد ريادتها في تطوير هذه الرياضة التراثية العريقة والارتقاء بها على مستوى العالم.
‎جاء ذلك خلال أعمال اجتماع الجمعية العمومية الـ43 للمنظمة، الذي استضافته القاهرة برئاسة جاروسلاف لاسينا، وبحضور سعادة محمد أحمد الحربي، المدير العام لجمعية الإمارات للخيول العربية ونائب رئيس “إيكاهو”، إلى جانب أعضاء المكتب التنفيذي، حيث ناقش الاجتماع عدداً من الملفات والموضوعات المتعلقة بتطوير وتنظيم عروض جمال الخيل العربية على المستوى الدولي.

The European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations (ECAHO) has approved the promotion of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship to Class “A”, in a new step reflecting the UAE’s leading global position in supporting and promoting purebred Arabian horses, while reinforcing its influential presence across international equestrian platforms and specialised organisations.
The decision was announced during the 43rd General Assembly meeting of ECAHO, hosted in Cairo under the chairmanship of Jaroslav Lacina, and attended by Mohamed Ahmed Alharbi, Director-General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society and Vice President of ECAHO, alongside members of the executive office.

التقى سمو الشيخ محمد بن حمد الشرقي ولي عهد الفجيرة في مكتبه بالديوان الأميري، سعادة محمد أحمد الحربي مدير عام جمعية الإمارات للخيول العربية.
واطّلع سموه خلال اللقاء على عدد من الإحصائيات الخاصة ببطولة الفجيرة الدولية لجمال الخيل العربي ومراحل تطوّرها ونتائجها.
وأكّد سموه، اهتمام حكومة الفجيرة برياضة الفروسية ومنافسات الخيول وتعزيز مكانة الإمارة كوجهةٍ رائدة في المحافظة على هذا الموروث الثقافي وممارساته.
كما أشار سموّه، إلى متابعة ودعم صاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن محمد الشرقي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الفجيرة، لبطولة الفجيرة الدولية للخيل العربي ودورها في تعزيز حضور رياضة الفروسية وأساليبها وقيمها في المجتمع وبين الأجيال.
وقدّم سعادة محمد أحمد الحربي شكره وتقديره لسمو ولي عهد الفجيرة على دعم ومتابعة سموه لدور جمعية الإمارات للخيول العربية في تعزيز مجال الفروسية والحفاظ عليها.
حضر اللقاء سعادة الدكتور أحمد حمدان الزيودي مدير مكتب سمو ولي عهد الفجيرة.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, met with His Excellency Mohamed Ahmed Alharbi, Director General of Emirates Arabian Horse Society, at his office in the Amiri Diwan.

During the meeting, His Highness reviewed statistics related to Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship, its development stages, and results.

His Highness emphasized the Fujairah government’s commitment to equestrian sports and horse competitions, and its dedication to strengthening the emirate’s position as a leading destination for preserving this cultural heritage and its practices.

His Highness also noted the ongoing support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship and its role in promoting equestrian sports, its traditions, and its values within the community and among future generations.

His Excellency Mohamed Ahmed Alharbi expressed his gratitude to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his support and guidance of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society’s efforts to promote and preserve equestrianism.

His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, was also present at the meeting.
