خلال مؤتمر المفاعلات النووية في أوروبا وأفريقيا والشرق الأوسط، قدم محمد المزروعي أخصائي اللوائح والإرشادات في الهيئة، عرضاً عن جاهزية القطاع الرقابي لمواكبة تطوير المفاعلات النموذجية الصغيرة، حيث أشار إلى تجربة الإمارات في تطوير برنامجها النووي السلمي والإطار الرقابي الفعال

وأشار المزروعي أيضاً إلى رغبة كثير من الدول في تبني واستخدام التقنيات النووية المبتكرة، بما أنها تعتبر أقل تكلفةً وأكثر مرونةً، حيث سلط الضوء على التحديات الرقابية التي يجب حلها لضمان أمن وأمان هذه المفاعلات النووية، إضافةً إلى إمكانياتها المحتملة في تشغيل محطات تحلية المياه في الإمارات.

Mohamed Almazrouei, FANR’s Regulations & Guidelines Specialist, highlighted the regulatory readiness for the deployment of small modular reactors, showcasing the UAE’s nuclear energy journey & agile regulatory framework developed in the country, during a presentation at the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Modular & UK Large Reactors 2026 Conference in London.

Almazrouei elaborated on the growing global interest in SMR’s as a flexible, low-cost energy solution, highlighting their potential applications in powering desalination plants in the UAE, as well the regulatory challenges that have to be addressed in order to ensure the safe and secure adoption of such technologies.

شارك إبراهام باربوناث أخصائي أول الأمن النووي في الهيئة في جلسة "الرقابة على الذكاء الاصطناعي والأمن السيبراني في القطاع النووي" خلال فعاليات المؤتمر الدولي للأمن السيبراني في القطاع النووي الذي تعقده الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، حيث سلط الضوء على منهجية الهيئة في دعم الابتكار وضمان أعلى مستويات الأمن والأمان في القطاع.

At the ’s Int’l Conference on Computer Security in the Nuclear World, FANR’s Senior Nuclear Security Specialist Abraham Parbhunath, took part in the “Regulatory Approaches to AI & Cybersecurity in the Nuclear Sector”, where he shed light on FANR’s regulatory approach towards enabling innovation while maintaining highest standards of safety & security.

نهنئ محمد الحربي مدير تقييم الأمان – برامج التشغيل في الهيئة على فوزه بالمركز الثاني لجائزة المهندس المتميز، وذلك خلال فعاليات جائزة التميز والإبداع الهندسي التي نظمتها جمعية المهندسين الإماراتية. ويأتي هذا التكريم تقديراً لإسهاماته في الهندسة النووية، والرقابة على الأنظمة، والابتكار، ودعم التشغيل الآمن والناجح لبرنامج الإمارات للطاقة النووية السلمية

Congratulations to Mohamed Al Harbi, Safety Assessment – Operating Programs Manager at FANR, on winning 2nd place of the Outstanding Engineer Award during the Excellence and Creative Engineering Award held by the UAE Society of Engineers, for his contributions to nuclear engineering, regulatory oversight, innovation, &supporting the safe operation of the UAE’s peaceful nuclear energy programme.

تشارك الهيئة هذا الأسبوع في "المؤتمر الدولي حول الأمن السيبراني في القطاع النووي: تأمين المستقبل" الذي تنظمه الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، حيث تستعرض الهيئة جهودها في تطوير بنية تحتية فعالة للأمن السيبراني تماشياً مع أفضل الممارسات الدولية، مما يدعم استخدامات التقنيات الحديثة في هذا القطاع الحيوي.

FANR is taking part this week in ’s Int’l Conference on Computer Security in the Nuclear World: Securing the Future, where the authority will showcase its efforts to develop a robust nuclear cyber security framework in line with int’l best practices while enabling the adoption of advanced cyber security technologies.

ضمن جهود إعداد الكفاءات الوطنية لقطاعات المستقبل، انضم عبدالله الهاشمي، أخصائي حظر الانتشار في الهيئة، إلى الدفعة الأولى من "بعثات محمد بن راشد الحكومية" الهادفة إلى تطوير الخبرات التخصصية وتمكين الكوادر الوطنية.

سيدرس الهاشمي الذكاء الاصطناعي التطبيقي في جامعة محمد بن زايد للذكاء الاصطناعي، حيث يجمع هذا البرنامج بين النظرية والخبرة العملية لتنفيذ هذه التقنيات في القطاعات المختلفة، مما يدعم إعداد قادة المستقبل وتزويدهم بمهارات تحليل البيانات وحل المشكلات

Abdulla Al Hashmi, FANR’s Non-Proliferation Specialist, was chosen among the first cohort of the Mohammed Bin Rashed Government Scholarship Programme, which aims to develop national capacity in specialized fields.

Al Hashmi will study Applied Artificial Intelligence at the MoMohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence which aims to equip students with advanced skills in AI technologies across industry, research, and government sectors, and to educate future leaders with data analysis and problem-solving skills.

شارك مبارك المنصوري، مهندس الأمان التشغيلي في الهيئة، مؤخرا في اجتماعات فريق عمل إدارة التقادم التابع للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، حيث تم اختياره ليكون معنياً بالدراسات حول إدارة التقادم فيما تخص مراقبة حركات النيوترونات في المفاعلات النووية.

وتهدف إدارة التقادم إلى الرقابة على تأثيرات التقادم على القطع والأنظمة التي تستخدم في المحطات النووية، مما تضمن الأمان التشغيلي في هذه محطات طوال فترة خدمتها.

FANR’s Operational Safety Engineer Mubarak Al Mansoori took part in Int’l Generic Ageing Lessons Learned Working Group meeting, where he was selected to be the Lead Author of the Ageing Management Programme’s Neutron Fluence Monitoring section.

An Ageing Management Programme is a structured set of activities designed to ensure that the safety and functionality of nuclear power plant’s structures, systems, and components are maintained throughout their service life.

شاركـت الهيئة في الاجتماع السنوي العاشر لجمعية الإمارات للأشعة في دبي حيث عرضت عملها في تطوير الإطار الرقابي لاستخدامات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التصوير الإشعاعي.

تحدث محمد الحمادي، فيزيائي أول صحة في الهيئة، عن أهمية تطوير الأطر الرقابية في استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي في مجال التصوير الإشعاعي، وبناء قدرات فرق العمل لضمان السلامة، مما يواكب الدور المتنامي الذي تلعبه التقنيات الحديثة.

تحدثت غاية آل علي، فيزيائي صحة في الهيئة، عن أهمية حماية المرضى من مخاطر الإشعاع، وركزت على تطوير الأطر الرقابية الفعالة والتي تأخذ في الاعتبار احتياجات القطاع والمخاطر المحتملة لضمان أمن وأمان هذه التقنيات الحديثة

FANR took part in the 10th Annual Meeting of the Radiology Society of the Emirates in Dubai, showcasing its efforts to develop the regulatory framework for the implementation of AI in medical imaging.

Mohammed Al Hammadi, FANR’s Senior Health Physicist, highlighted the importance of developing regulatory oversight and competent teams to support the growing role of AI in medical imaging.

Ghaya Al Ali, FANR’s Health Physicist emphasized the importance of developing regulatory frameworks that meet the needs of the sector while ensuring the radiological protection of patients against associated risks.
