وستعقد الانتخابات البرلمانية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في 24 سبتمبر 2011. [1] المجمع الانتخابي تتوسع من ما يقرب من 6،000 عضو في 2٬006-129،274 في الانتخابات المقررة. بعض المراقبين يدعو الى التأخير في عملية التصويت للسماح لمزيد من الوقت للقيام بحملة للمرشحين لهذا المنصب. [2] وذكرت الحكومة ان "الانتخابات المقبلة هي خطوة هامة في تعزيز المشاركة السياسية ، كحصة من التدريجي ونهج واضح من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
