"My name is Anees Khan, born and raised in Pakistan. I am 22 years old and currently studying Electronics and Communications in Pakistan.
I am very much interested in learning languages. I started learning Turkish and French in school but could't continue because school was finished. Arabic is very widely spoken and understood language in the world and it is an amazing opportunity for me to be able to learn it. I recently had a chance to attend an International conference in Germany. I made a few friends who spoke Arabic and one of them could speak German. I could see how amazingly easy it was for her to interact. In this globalized world it is important to know as much as you can to excel. I am hoping that this experience would bring me close to Arabic speaking people all over the world and would help me understand this world an a better way."
Our fourth Participant in the Al Amine Foundation Arabic Tutoring program is Anees Khan, Pakistani Electronics and Communications student! The Tutor assigned to Anees is Abdullah I. Mohamed from Saudi Arabia/South Africa.

"Why I choose to do an online Arabic course ?
Arabic is the 5th most commonly spoken native language in the world. It will help me understand and interact with many people in my surrounding as I am an English speaker living in an Arab country. Moreover Arabic is the liturgical language of Islam.
Also, knowing Arabic can promote intercultural understanding and enable me to understand the language people speak around me."

"My name is Pedro Zavala Yesan, I'm from northern Peru, living in a place called Piura. I have 2 degrees, 1 in humanities (liberal arts), and the other in law (which I am finishing now). I work in Business, specializing in development, investment and management for public and private institutions.
My interest to learn Arabic is the culture: I always wanted to know more about the arabic world, not just the idioms. I have commerce relations with companies in Dubai and Egypt. I really want to discover the customs, the culture, and all that relates to the Arab World. Maybe soon I can go there, and practicing now through your program will make it easier for me!"
