The Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotienry of the Republic of Sierra Leone near Abu Dhabi, H. E. Rashid Sesay, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Liberia 🇱🇷 on Thursday, December 20th, 2025.

Ambassador Sesay was well received and warmly welcomed on arrival by his colleague, H. E. Mohammed Dukuly, Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotienry of the Republic of Liberia 🇱🇷 near Abu Dhabi.

The visit marked the first since Ambassador Mohammed Momolu Dukuly presented his letters of credentials as Liberia 🇱🇷 's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.

The two discussed regional and bilateral relations between their two countries, and how to strengthen their relationship. Liberia 🇱🇷 and Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 are members of the Mano River Union and also the West African Regional bloc, ECOWAS.

The two countries enjoy existing bilateral relations and peaceful coexistence as neighbours.

Interestingly, Ambassador Sesay is the current Dean of Ambassadors in Abu Dhabi, which makes the visit crucial as Ambassador Dukuly begins his tour of duty.

AMBASSADOR DUKULY ON A FIELD TRIP

H. E. Mohammed Momolu Dukuly is currently on a one day working vist outside Abu Dhabi, where he joined his colleagues from other diplomatic missions in the UAE 🇦🇪, to tour the Renewable Energy site based in the Dhafran Region.
