Electrical Foreman Job Description:

Reports to: Director/Chief Supervisor

Job Summary:

The successful applicant should be an experienced electrician who would be in charge of a team of electricians and oversee their work. Should be able to provide technical guidance and support as the team installs, maintains, and repairs the building’s electrical system. Would be responsible for ensuring that safety standards and compliance codes are met, and oversee the training and scheduling of workers. Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment would be part of the Electrical Supervisor job duties as well. He should be familiar with the building’s electrical system and be able to troubleshoot the devices involved. A strong knowledge of electrical and circuitry layouts is essential. The successful candidate should be prepared to work diligently and multi-task, and might be on call for urgent electrical emergencies. This is a leadership position, and as such the Electrical Supervisor should be familiar with the capabilities of the team under him. The Electrical Supervisor should generally have past experience in the field of electronics. The exact job duties would vary based on the type of the project, facility and the specifics of the electrical system and works, but it will always require someone with strong people skills and wide technical knowledge.

Role and Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff.

Providing motivation and assistance when necessary.

Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff.

Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.

Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.

Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment and panels.

Overseeing the purchasing and maintenance of the electrical equipment on-site.

Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.

Maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Consulting with builders, engineers, and other contractors on-site.

· Conducting quality check of works in progress to ensure program and quality standards are maintained.

Excellent knowledge of UAE national and Dubai/Sharjah local Municipality electrical regulations & codes.

Painting Supervisor Job Description:

Reports to: Director/Chief Supervisor

Job Summary:

Serves as Painting Foreman/Supervisor and will be responsible for all company painting work related assignments. Schedules and supervises painting jobs, including repairs, modifications to existing and new works. The projects include painting of buildings, equipment, and other structures, in accordance with issued drawings, specifications and verbal instructions.
The successful candidate would plan and schedule work for the group, ensuring proper coordination of work schedule and adequate manning. The Painting supervisor is expected to carry out cost estimations, prepare programs, order and procure tools, materials and consumables for the painting projects; determine sequence of painting operations and application methodology, including arranging for scaffolding and rigging, carry out color blending and matching; inspect completed work for compliance with drawings, specifications and instructions; conduct periodic inspections of ongoing works to determine painting standards and needs; recommend various painting personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions and vacation schedules.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Schedules, assigns, and plans the painting works as per project requirements

· Develops work schedules, tool and equipment usage schedules, procedures for tools and equipment maintenance

· Estimates material and labor requirements and associated cost expenditures per project

· Monitors the acquisition and use of paint materials and supplies

· Supervises and participates in mixing paints and matching colors; inspects surfaces for cleanliness and readiness for painting; inspects equipment; buildings, or other structures reported to be in need of painting

· Discusses painting requirements and color matching issues with departmental personnel; supervises the painting and redecorating of building interiors and exteriors, furniture, equipment, and fixtures

· Maintains records and reports of material, labor, and time costs and prepares and submits reports

· Recommends for hiring new painters or terminating existing ones as per company requirements

· Coaches and trains existing painters on new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, and work policies

· Evaluates the performance of painter employees

· Ensures budgeting guidelines are met; prioritizes expenditures to stay within budget; assists in preparation of capital and operational budgets

· Interprets UAE Governmental and particular Municipality Health & Safety policies to assigned personnel, enforces safety regulations and adheres to proper codes and standards

HVAC Foreman Job Description:

Reports to: Director/Chief Supervisor

Job Summary:

Serves as HVAC Foreman and will be responsible for all installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units and associated air handling, chilled water distribution, and environmental control systems. Schedule and supervise individual maintenance jobs and long-term work operations, develops a preventive maintenance program, and oversees the quality of repair work. Responsibilities also include designing smaller air-conditioning systems, designing modifications to existing systems, reviewing plans and specifications for contracted work, and coordinating the works with other contractors. Will also be expected to resolve related HVAC problems exercising discretionary judgment and analysis.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Receives oral or written work requests and prepares schedule of works

• Assemble team and arrange tools and resources to carry out HVAC work assignments in an efficient cost effective manner

• Perform initial evaluations of proposed or existing HVAC systems to determine what installation or repair services need to be carried out

• Check manpower to ensure technicians/laborers have requisite set of skills to properly execute their job assignments

• Prepare project schedules and assign particular work activities
