🤝 On March 30, the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates held a working meeting with representatives of Dubai Police.

The discussion focused on developing cooperation within the Esaad privilege program, one of Dubai’s key social initiatives.

Particular attention was given to the potential participation of Russian companies in the program, as well as opportunities to expand its reach, including access to certain services beyond the UAE.

The meeting also covered practical aspects of cooperation, from partnership mechanisms to potential areas for joint projects.

The sides confirmed their mutual interest in strengthening practical cooperation and expanding bilateral engagement.

The Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Maxim Vladimirov took part in the Eurasia Gulf Diplomatic Business Lunch held at Capital Club Dubai.

The event brought together representatives of the Russian and UAE business communities to discuss practical aspects of cooperation, including investment opportunities, joint projects and new areas of economic engagement.

Particular attention was given to strengthening sustainable partnerships and enhancing direct business-to-business dialogue in the context of ongoing global economic changes.

Such platforms play an important role in fostering trust, building connections and creating a foundation for long-term cooperation.

❗️ Обращаем внимание:
• Специальные эвакуационные или «вывозные» рейсы не планируются, поскольку для их выполнения также требуется открытое воздушное пространство.
• До официального открытия неба требовать от авиакомпаний переоформления билетов или предоставления альтернативных рейсов нецелесообразно.

План действий на данном этапе:
• Сохраняйте ваши билеты.
• После появления информации об открытии авиасообщения свяжитесь со своим авиаперевозчиком для регистрации на новый рейс.

Просим учитывать, что в Дубае находится значительное количество туристов, и авиакомпании объективно не могут оперативно отвечать на все обращения.

🏨 О проживании
Наиболее сложная ситуация складывается у граждан, у которых истекает оплаченный период проживания.

Важно понимать:
Массово оплачивать дальнейшее размещение туристов авиаперевозчики и туроператоры, скорее всего, не смогут, ссылаясь на форс-мажорные обстоятельства.

Это не лишает вас права в дальнейшем предъявить соответствующие претензии в судебном порядке, однако в текущий момент необходимо решить вопрос проживания.

🔎 Рекомендуем:
• Трезво оценить свои финансовые возможности.
• Быть готовыми к тому, что проживание придется оплачивать самостоятельно. Рассчитывайте свои финансы минимум на неделю проживания.
• Рассмотреть возможность переезда в более бюджетный отель.
• Если вы находитесь в отеле категории 5*, рационально оцените целесообразность дальнейшего проживания в нем с учетом стоимости.
• Местные власти просят отели сохранять действующие тарифы, однако более доступные варианты размещения остаются предпочтительными в текущих условиях.

📌 Если средства ограничены или отсутствуют вовсе:
Обратитесь на стойку регистрации отеля, доведите до них, что находитесь в ОАЭ из-за отмены рейсов и форс-мажора, что у вас закончились деньги и вы не можете получить их переводом, попросите продлить проживание бесплатно, сообщите что готовы на ухудшение условий проживания.

Если у Вас закончились деньги, постарайтесь воспользоваться интернетом в отеле для поиска альтернативного варианта проживания.

🎶 Alexandrov Ensemble Performs in Dubai for the First Time

On 16 December, the legendary Alexandrov Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army performed at the Zabeel Theatre in Dubai. This landmark event marked the Ensemble’s first-ever concert in the United Arab Emirates.

The performance attracted a full audience and became a significant cultural highlight, showcasing the rich musical and artistic traditions of Russia. The program featured iconic works from the Ensemble’s repertoire, along with expressive choral pieces, dynamic dance performances and instrumental solos.

The concert was warmly received by the audience and served as an important contribution to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties, fostering mutual understanding and appreciation between nations through the universal language of music.

The Consul General delivered opening remarks at the International School of Municipal Leadership, welcoming city leaders and experts to a hands-on program in Dubai—one of the region’s living labs for urban solutions.

The agenda brings strategy to practice: how to turn plans into measurable results, use data and digital services to improve daily life, and balance mobility, public spaces, sustainability and inclusiveness. A dedicated track addresses international outreach of cities and cooperation with business, universities and expert communities.

The Consulate General supports professional exchanges that lead to concrete outcomes - pilot projects, internships and knowledge sharing - and stands ready to facilitate contacts for follow-up initiatives.

Honorary Certificate Presented at the Consulate General of Russia in Dubai

On 18 November 2025, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Dubai hosted a ceremony at which Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev presented the Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation to Ms. Nozifivo Mzamo, CEO of State Diamond Trader (South Africa).

The award recognizes Ms. Mzamo’s significant contribution to the Kimberley Process and to sectoral cooperation within BRICS. In his remarks, Mr. Moiseev noted her leadership of a KP expert mission that helped lift the export ban on Central African diamonds and supported the country’s reinstatement as a full participant in the Process.

The Consulate General will continue to facilitate practical cooperation among government agencies and industry partners on international platforms, including the Kimberley Process.

9th April 2025 Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the governments of Ras Al Khaimah and the City of Moscow.
The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration between the Municipalities of Ras Al Khaimah and Moscow across key sectors of mutual interest, promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices in the fields of technology, trade, investment, culture, sports and education.
