As we start realizing that Expo 2020 Dubai is now over, we take a look back at these past three months, when our highlight was certainly the celebration of in January, but also the performances showcasing our countries' talent.
We cannot forget, however, the various visits and delegations we hosted throughout the entire six months!

That strange, nostalgic feeling when is empty, and there's no more visitors...

And just like that, the six months of Expo 2020 Dubai are over!
We would like to thank all those that have been part of this amazing experience that has brought so many people together.
Thanks in particular to those people who have made our participation possible, including people working relentlessly behind the scenes, whether in Dubai or back home; all the Malta Pavilion personnel; and also to those who contributed to showcase Malta through the various events we organized or took part in.
Last but not least, special thanks goes to all those guests and visitors who joined us throughout this journey, the legacy of which will live on.
Thank you!

While Expo 2020 Dubai is nearing its end, a piece of Malta’s rich history will remain behind for another two months, as the Maymūnah Stone will be on exhibition at the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization.
This is the first time that the Maymūnah Stone, which is considered as Malta’s most important archaeological find from the Arab period, will be exhibited outside of Malta, thanks to Heritage Malta with the support of the Embassy of Malta in the UAE.

Water sustainability and ocean life are among the matters which the thematic pavilion of the Sustainability District, Terra, has been raising awareness about throughout Expo 2020 Dubai.
The pavilion, which leads by example particularly in its use of solar energy and smart use of water, seeks to explore humankind’s relationship with nature, and how we can change our everyday choices to reduce our environmental impact and become more sustainable.
