A hybrid solar powered A/C. The solar panel would probably provide a third of the power. Depending on the size of the unit you would need 3 to 5 solar panels to run it off grid, and if you wanted to run it at night a battery and double the number of panels. An A/C breakdown never happens at a good time. Take out an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) as regular servicing will reduce the chances of unexpected failures significantly.

Is it an optical illusion?

Easily lost in translation. The real message though is the AC Unit should always be kept level otherwise you won't get proper circulation of the refrigerant. If it arrives at your home upside down you should reject it as it will have been damaged.
