تعليق جميع تصاريح الطيران للطائرات الشراعية، والطائرات بدون طيار (الدرونز)، والطائرات الرياضية والترفيهية بجميع أنواعها، وذلك اعتباراً من اليوم 28 فبراير 2026 ولمدة أسبوع.
يأتي هذا القرار في ظل الظروف الراهنة وضمن جهودنا لضمان سلامة الجمهور وحماية الأجواء الوطنية. ونؤكد أن أي تشغيل أو إطلاق لهذه الطائرات خلال هذه الفترة يعد مخالفاً للقانون، وسيتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحق المخالفين.
سنقوم بمراجعة الوضع وتقييم المستجدات في نهاية الفترة المحددة لتحديد ما إذا كان سيتم استئناف العمليات أو تمديد التعليق.

🚨 Important Announcement
All flight permits for gliders, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), and recreational aircraft of all types are suspended, effective today, February 28, 2026, for a period of one week.
This decision has been taken in light of the prevailing circumstances and as part of our commitment to ensuring public safety and the protection of national airspace. We emphasize that any operation or launch of these aircraft during this period is strictly prohibited and subject to legal measures.
The Authority will review the situation and evaluate developments at the end of the specified period to determine whether to resume operations or extend the suspension.

Today marks a defining milestone for Ras Al Khaimah’s aviation landscape.

RAK International Airport is proud to announce the development of a world-class VVIP Terminal and private jet hangar, in collaboration with Falcon Executive Aviation – part of Alex Group Investment.

The new facility is set to redefine luxury travel to the Northern Emirates. With a 1,500 sqm VVIP terminal, 8,000 sqm multi-purpose hangar, premium lounges and a dedicated helipad, this development positions RAK as a preferred gateway for high-profile global travellers & reflects our commitment to sustainable, future-focused aviation — including plans for LEED Gold certification, solar-powered energy, and fully electric ground support equipment.

It’s a bold step that strengthens our role in supporting the Emirate’s tourism ambitions and its emergence as one of the region’s most exciting destinations. Construction begins soon, with the facility set to open in Q1 2027. A new era of premium aviation begins now — and Ras Al Khaimah is ready.
