Some Safety Tips

1. A parent should know all types of potential home fires and how to be doused should they occurred.
2. Fire Emergency Plan must be set, showing what family members and maid should do in case of fire.

3. Designate one member of the family to alert, awake and evacuate children, elderly and special needs people during an emergency.

4. All members of the family, particularly children, should be trained in emergency evacuation procedures.
5. Avoid smoking in the bedroom or where children are available, 25% of fires are attributed to smoking.
6. Do not barbecue indoors.

Most of all fire deaths/injuries are caused by flammability and smoke development of upholstered furniture. Main causes:
