Joint Task Force Triple Nickel was the combat engineer command for military engineer operations in Afghanistan in 2013, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. It was staffed by the headquarters component of the 555th Engineer Brigade, which remains stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
