An Israeli attack on Iran will have serious ramifications in Afghanistan. While Israel might be in range of Iran's missiles, they will in all likelihood increase their support to Taliban and attack both military and civilian targets inside Afghanistan. In the meantime, it is unrealistic to expect the Afghan government to bolster its military and intelligence capabilities on its western border to combat a possible surge in the Iranian support to Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Whether just the regular talking points from the Pakistani civilian government or a genuine realization, this sounds like a shift of tone only on Ms. Khar's part. The rest of Pakistan's military regime which operates parallel and at times over shadows its civilian government, particularly on the foreign policy front, needs to be systematically weakened and dismantlement. Only then the international community will find a solution to the "Frankenstein".

This is a very interesting documentary. ISI was a dishonest partner before 9/11 all the way back to the USSR invasion of Afghanistan. The fact that it took the West more than a decade to realize this, shows the overall lack of interest on the part of Western powers in dealing with rogue terrorist agencies like the ISI. However, the question is: Why can't the West do anything about it? Doesn't the US have the leverage over ISI to force it into compliance or has the ISI overgrown and outsmarted the West?

Burning copies of the Holy Quran at Bagram Airbase was foolish and disrespectful. However, the killing of innocent Afghans, looting and burning peoples’ belongings is an unjustifiable act.
The first question is: Why couldn’t these “protectors of Islam” protest in front of the US Embassy and demand a thorough investigation from the US government and the punishment of the perpetrators through nonviolent methods?
The second question is: Why are people in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Palestine, Indonesia, Egypt and tens of other Muslim countries not protesting against this?
The third question is: Why aren’t these brave Muslims protesting against the Taliban or Al Qaida for burning schools and carrying out su***de bombings in Mosques? Why are they not protesting the death of innocent Afghans at the hands of Taliban in Kandahar, Uruzgan, Herat and Kunduz?
