In Term 3, the Grade One students enjoyed a special presentation by Tr. Casey Richardson and the ALHCS Steel Orchestra.

The presentation reinforced the students’ learning about sound and vibrations through an engaging and interactive musical experience. They had the opportunity to observe how vibrations produce sound and to connect classroom concepts with real-life examples through the performance.

🇦🇮💙🧡 Happy Anguilla Day! 🧡💙🇦🇮

Yesterday, the students of VPS had the wonderful opportunity to attend the “Back to Our Roots” showcase hosted by the South Hill Community Club in collaboration with ATHPS.

Our students were fascinated as they explored the household items, tools, traditions, and way of life that our grandparents experienced growing up. From seeing everyday objects that once played an important role in Anguillian homes to learning about traditional foods and customs, the experience was both educational and exciting.

Many were surprised by the stark differences between life then and life now, gaining a deeper appreciation for the resilience, creativity, and resourcefulness of the generations that came before us. It was a memorable journey into our heritage that brought history to life right before their eyes.

As we proudly celebrate Anguilla Day, we also celebrate the people, traditions, and stories that have shaped our island into what it is today. May we continue to honor our past while inspiring future generations to cherish and preserve our rich cultural heritage.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to VPS students Qiana and Leeanne on securing 2nd Place in the 2026 Anguilla Day Quiz Competition.

Missing the top spot by just one point is not a measure of what was lacking, but a testament to just how closely these young ladies stood alongside victory. Their remarkable knowledge, unwavering dedication, teamwork, and countless hours of preparation were evident in every round.

While the final score may place them second, their performance reflects the qualities of true champions. One point cannot diminish the brilliance, determination, and talent they demonstrated throughout the competition.

Qiana and Leeanne, you represented VPS with pride, grace, and excellence. Your achievement is one to be celebrated, and the entire VPS family is incredibly proud of you both.

Today, our school was filled with bright colours, bold patterns, and some truly funky socks as students and staff showed off their fun and creative styles. From mismatched pairs to wild designs, everyone stepped into the final day with lots of spirit and excitement. 😄👏

🎭 Drama Week came to life with Book Character Day! 📚✨ (Day 4/5)

Today, our school was transformed into a world of stories, imagination, and beloved characters as students and staff stepped straight out of the pages of their favourite books! From classic characters to modern favourites, the creativity on display was absolutely incredible. 👏📖

It was a wonderful celebration of reading, imagination, and school spirit. We’ve loved seeing the excitement and participation throughout the week so far, and we’re looking forward to even more fun tomorrow! 🌟🎬

🎭 Drama Week rolled on with Wacky Hair Wednesday! 🤪💇‍♂️✨ (Day 3/5)

Today, the hallways were bursting with colour, creativity, and some of the wildest hairstyles we’ve ever seen! From crazy curls to gravity-defying styles, our students and staff truly understood the assignment. 😂👏

🎭 Drama Week Continues with Twin Tuesday! 👯‍♀️✨ (Day 2/5)

Today was all about double the fun, double the laughter, and double the creativity as students and staff teamed up for Twin Tuesday! From matching outfits to synchronized styles, the school was filled with dynamic duos all day long. 😄👏
