ASSB SUPPORTS BOYS’ BRIGADE REGIONAL CAMP 2026

The Anguilla Social Security Board (ASSB) is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming Boys’ Brigade Eastern and Southern Caribbean Region Boys’ Camp, with a US$1,000 contribution.

The regional camp will be held in Anguilla from 17–27 July 2026 and is expected to bring together approximately 150 boys and officers from across the Caribbean. The event also coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Boys’ Brigade in Anguilla, marking a significant milestone for the organisation and the island.

The Boys’ Brigade has played a key role in youth development in Anguilla for decades, promoting leadership, discipline, Christian values, and good citizenship among young people. Through this sponsorship, the ASSB is supporting an initiative that fosters youth growth and development while promoting regional fellowship and cultural exchange.

The ASSB recognises the value of investing in programmes that empower young people and strengthen communities and is proud to partner with organisations that share these objectives.

The Board extends its best wishes to the organisers and participants for a successful and memorable camp experience.

ASSB Supports Youth Ambassador’s International Sustainability Voyage

The Anguilla Social Security Board (ASSB) has contributed US$500.00 towards Ms. Wendysha Hodge's participation in the Youth for the SDGs 2026 Latin America Voyage Program, an international youth leadership initiative organised by Peace Boat US.

Ms. Hodge, a Global Youth Ambassador with Blue Planet Alliance, will join young leaders from around the world on a voyage from Panama to Mexico, from 15 June to 1 July 2026. The programme focuses on youth leadership, climate action, ocean conservation, sustainability, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Board approved the contribution to support Ms. Hodge’s essential programme-related expenses for the voyage. The initiative will provide valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and cultural exchange, as well as for strengthening leadership skills in sustainability and environmental advocacy.

ASSB congratulates Ms. Hodge on this achievement and commends her commitment to environmental stewardship and youth leadership. The Board wishes her a safe, productive, and enriching journey as she proudly represents Anguilla on the international stage.
