Members of the Interact Club are selling fruit bowls during their breaks today on both shifts. With positive messages to bless those who support them, members are upholding their school's initiative of a 'Fruitful Friday'.

My tribute to Sir Emile Gumbs
Sir Emile Gumbs, a politician, a role model, a boat builder and racer. The list can go on but, most importantly he was our chief minister. He was credited for branding Anguilla as the tourist destination it is today and impacting our culture with the art of boat racing.
Sir Emile Gumbs and his legendary boat the Warspite played a tremendous roll in the history of Anguilla's boat racing culture. In additon to being a captain, he was an open person always ready to talk to the youth about his impactful journey. A great man to say the least. Lastly, a member of the Interact club once had the honor of sitting down and interviewing this great man; the Interactor said," being from Sandy Ground as well as being fond of boat racing lead me to this point and the knowledge i have gained has made me an even prouder Anguillian.
