💨 Moderate to fresh easterly to east-southeasterly winds (13–19 knots)
🌬️ Strong gusts up to 30 knots offshore
🌊 Seas 4–7 feet, occasionally reaching 9 feet

The Department of Disaster Management is currently conducting a re-evaluation of the Anguilla Warning System to ensure it continues to effectively serve and protect our community.
As we are now in the Hurricane Season, we encourage everyone to stay informed by following our social media pages and listening to official radio announcements for the latest updates and emergency information.

Date: June 8th, 2026
Following a 6.4 magnitude earthquake in the Cuba region, there is *NO* tsunami danger to Anguilla.
✔️ No action is required
✔️ Continue normal activities
✔️ Stay informed through Anguilla DDM for updates

The general public is asked to note that a Search and Rescue Exercise was held this morning at The Forest Bay and the National Emergency Operations Centre.

There is no cause for concern.

Emergency Response Agencies worked together in what was to be a realistic exercise.

No action is required from the public at this time.
