Krejt papritur, vetëm 2 ditë para nisjes sime, bleva bileta avioni 🛫 për të kaluar 10 ditë në Shqipëri.

Pa e njohur vërtet vendin, u hodha me 100% përkushtim në këtë aventurë, duke i thënë vetes se do ta lija veten të befasohesha. Mund t’ju them që tani se ishte një nga vendimet më të mira të udhëtimit që kam marrë prej shumë kohësh.

Shqipëria është e mbushur me njerëz të jashtëzakonshëm, të cilët janë gjithmonë të lumtur të të japin një dorë ndihme.

Ky vend është plot me peizazhe mahnitëse, me male mbresëlënëse dhe fshatra të bukur ku mund të qëndrosh dhe të hash me çmime shumë të përballueshme.

Në këtë video, po ju prezantoj fshatin e vogël të Thethit, i cili ndodhet në veri të vendit, rreth 3 orë e 30 minuta larg kryeqytetit. Fjeta në një bujtinë në zemër të fshatit, i rrethuar nga dele, dhi dhe kuaj të egër.

Kafshët lëvizin kryesisht të lira dhe i ndesh pothuajse kudo. Për mua, që i adhuroj kafshët, ky vend është parajsë.

Shpresoj që postimet dhe “story”-t e mia t’ju frymëzojnë të vizitoni këtë vend ende pak të njohur, por që me shumë gjasa do të bëhet shumë shpejt një nga destinacionet më të preferuara të udhëtimit. ✈️

This is Theth, Albania 🇦🇱

A place where mountains touch the clouds, rivers run crystal clear, and the noise of everyday life simply disappears.

As a photographer, I’ve visited many beautiful places, but few have made me stop and just stare in silence. Theth is one of them.

Some destinations look good in photos.

Theth makes you feel something even before you press the shutter.

In northern Albania, near the Montenegro border, there’s a small, traditional mountain village called Theth. Until a few years ago, the road into the village was unpaved, which made it difficult to reach without a 4x4 vehicle. Even now, with the road paved, it’s still a journey to get there, with tight switchbacks winding high along the Accursed Mountains.

A lot of people come to Theth to hike the Valbona Pass, a roughly 10-mile trail (16 km) that connects Theth and Valbona. We had planned to do it too, but we visited in late May and there was still too much snow on the trail, so we had to skip it. Instead, we ended up spending a couple of blissful days soaking up the raw, unspoiled beauty of the village.

The magic of Theth is its isolation. It’s just you and nature, plus a few sheep and a couple dozen guesthouses. Our guesthouse sat up on the hill, away from the center of the village, and each night we settled in for four-course homemade dinners that cost just 20 euros. Our first meal there consisted of an appetizer course of bread, pie, and dips, enough food to be considered a meal, followed by soup, then a whole trout baked over a wood fire with fresh French fries, and ending with dessert. Albanian hospitality is on another level.

* Dinner and breakfast at our guesthouse
* Visiting Theth Church
* Wandering the footpaths through the valley

Sot në Theth po bie borë dhe borëpastruesit janë në terren për ta mbajtur rrugën të hapur. Pamjet janë spektakolare, të pastra, pothuajse të pabesueshme.
Nëse ke një makinë 4x4 me goma dimri, ia vlen absolutisht ta vizitosh Thethin sot. Dimri këtu nuk është pengesë, është privilegj.
