The Philippine Embassy in Argentina joins the observance of National Flag Days from 28 May to 12 June 2026, in accordance with Executive Order No. 179 and Republic Act No. 8491, or the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines.

The annual observance commemorates the first unfurling of the Philippine flag following the Philippine Revolutionary Army’s victory during the Battle of Alapan in Imus, Cavite on 28 May 1898, leading to the proclamation of Philippine Independence on 12 June 1898.

The Philippine Embassy in Argentina joins the celebration of the “𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐄𝐎𝐃𝐁) 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡” this May, in accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 818, s.2025.

The 2026 EODB Month celebration carries the theme “𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀): 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬”, which aims to raise public awareness, promote government reforms, and foster collaboration among government agencies, the private sector, and the general public to enhance the ease of doing business in the Philippines.
