Ambassador Ian Biggs and Dr Christine Biggs were pleased to visit the 🇧🇦 NGO Los Rosales in Mostar on 29 May.
Since its establishment in 1995, Los Rosales has provided care to children and youth in need, regardless of their origin. Los Rosales builds bridges in the local community, contributing to dialogue between people from different backgrounds - symbolic of the city of Mostar and its iconic Old Bridge.
Funded under the Australian Direct Aid Program, their project ‘Sunny opportunity’ promotes renewable energy through the use of solar dryers in agricultural production, while creating employment opportunities and supporting greater self-reliance for persons with disabilities.
A big thank you to Mrs Jasna Rebac and her team for their warm welcome and for sharing the inspiring history of Los Rosales.

Heading for a Euro summer? Plan for delays. There are reports of long lines and wait times since the full implementation of the EU Entry/Exit system.
These wait times may increase at busy transit hubs. Save yourself the stress, give yourself enough time to transit or get to your next transport stop. https://www.smartraveller.gov.au/before-you-go/basics/visas-and-entry-requirements-europe-and-schengen-area
