Miracle Babies Foundation

To: Queensland families,
We have a volunteer opportunity to host a new NurtureGroup we are about to launch!
We are looking for a friendly, motivated individual who loves making a difference and can commit to volunteering weekly to facilitate NurtureGroup.
Miracle Babies Foundation NurtureGroup is a free play and support group for children from birth to school age who have been impacted by a premature or sick birth, including time spent in a neonatal unit, or who are living with ongoing medical challenges due to a prenatal anomaly, injury, or condition diagnosed in the first five years of life.

As a NurtureGroup Volunteer, you will assist in coordinating and running each NurtureGroup session. The volunteer will need to have lived neonatal experience and feel comfortable providing peer support to other families throughout their journey.

Where: Browns Plains, QLD
When: 3 hours weekly
Who: To be considered as NurtureGroup Volunteer, your baby must have been an inpatient in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery (SCN).
What is required: The team member will need to assist with set up and pack down, sanitise all toys before the next session, and provide morning tea (covered by Miracle Babies Foundation).
