Thanks to every one of you - all 120 - who came to our sold out True Crime Prospect event. My favourite part of the evening is always your questions and once again I enjoyed addressing them - thank you. While I know many of you enjoyed, I’m sorry to hear from some of you that it was sometimes a bit hard to hear. We’re addressing that and are planning to fix this & other updates on our presentations for next year. Meanwhile- thank you so much again for your interest and I enjoyed meeting many of you afterwards as well.

Parole for a person who MURDERED FOUR PEOPLE, one by one, including his half-brother and best friend?! This 7NEWS Adelaide report says one of the reasons for granting parole is that at the time, he was simply “obeying orders”. Where have we heard that before? The Parole Administrative Review Commissioner determined that the law was correctly followed in Vlassakis’s case. The problem is that the law needs to be changed. The first responsibility of Government is to keep its community safe, but instead it’s going to spend untold resources monitoring a convicted serial killer as he moves amongst us. The government should have anticipated the need to change the law a long time ago and should have changed the law. Instead, it has done nothing except sit on its hands and watch the process, in a world first, of releasing a serial killer from prison. 7NEWS Adelaide
