This morning Australian Army members from the 9th Brigade, 10th/27th Battalion - The Royal South Australia Regiment, 1st Armoured Regiment and 9th Combat Service Support Battalion were proud to march in the Anzac Day march in Adelaide.

On , we mark the landings in Gallipoli of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) soldiers in 1915, and honour all Australian military personnel who served and died in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. We reflect on their courage, discipline, and sacrifice.

Adelaide 2026 highlights 📸🏃‍♀️

9th Brigade recently hosted a Run Army satellite event, bringing together Australian Army members, civilian emergency services, veteran organisations, and members of the South Australian community.

Participants laced up their runners and stepped off for a 5km or 10km walk or run along the Torrens River.

The day also included a fundraising BBQ for Legacy Club of South Australia & Broken Hill, raising funds in support of veteran families.

Events like Run Army highlight the strong bonds between and the communities we serve, promoting physical fitness, wellbeing, and unity.

Celebrating at the SA Army Open Day 🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Warradale Barracks to celebrate 125 years of the Australian Army.

It was a fantastic day welcoming members of the South Australian community through our gates to meet our people, explore equipment, and see some of the capabilities that support our mission.

SA Army Open Day – It’s on this weekend!

The gates to Warradale Barracks are opening to the public between 8.30am and 3pm on this Saturday, 14 March.

Head down to see your Australian Army’s equipment and live demonstrations.

To celebrate the 125th Birthday of the Australian Army, bases across the country are opening to the public showcasing interactive displays, demonstrations, and family-friendly activities.

Here in South Australia, Warradale Barracks will have displays including the new HIMARS and NASAMS, military vehicles, the infantry, UAS platforms, recruiting, military health support, engineering assets and the Army museum.

Force preservation in focus 🎯

9th Brigade hosted the Chief of the Australian Army Lieutenant General Simon Stuart during our Force Preservation Awarensss Training weekend, providing an opportunity for Headquarters staff to hear directly on his priorities.

Force Preservation Awareness Training is an annual program that reinforces safety, ethical, and operational standards to protect our people, enhance readiness, and set the Brigade up for another successful year ahead.

The Australian Army, including soldiers from across the 9th Brigade, are at the BP Adelaide Grand Final at Victoria Park in Adelaide this weekend.
