The draft engineering design standard specifies requirements for:
โ๏ธ road and pavement design
โ๏ธ stormwater design
โ๏ธ stormwater quality
โ๏ธ earthworks
โ๏ธ service infrastructure
โ๏ธ street landscaping, including trees.
This is the second stage of consultation, following a comprehensive review of the initial draft engineering design standard, technical manual and standard drawings released for consultation in May 2025.
Supporting amendments to the planning general regulations and mandatory conditions are also proposed.
