If you regularly drive along Brighton Road, please be aware of new 40km/h time-based school speed limit signs that are starting to be installed, as part the State Government’s Road Safety Program.
The signs are now in place near Brighton Primary School and will soon be rolled out near Brighton Secondary School, Sacred Heart College - Marcellin Campus and Seacliff Primary School.
The speed limits will be enforced from the date of completion at each site between the hours of 8am – 9.30am and 2pm – 4pm.
The 40km/h speed limits do not apply on weekends, public holidays or during school holidays.
Existing "25 km/h when children present" school zone speed limits will not change.
Read more about the new speed limits here: www.dit.sa.gov.au/infrastructure/projects/40-km-h-school-speed-limits
