๐ WOW, EAST ADELAIDE SCHOOL! ๐
What an incredible day.
As the colour settles and we finish unpacking the final tubs, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who helped make our Colour Run such a success.
To Lisa โ thank you for the energy, excitement, organisation and relentless hype that built momentum right across our community. Your enthusiasm was contagious and helped create something truly special.
To Michael โ thank you for embracing the adventure and helping create the obstacle experiences that had students climbing, crawling, running and laughing their way around the course all day.
To our amazing setup and pack-up crews โ thank you for the early starts, heavy lifting, endless carrying, problem-solving and behind-the-scenes work that most people never see. Events like this simply donโt happen without you.
To our teachers and staff โ thank you for your encouragement, flexibility, supervision and willingness to finish the day looking like walking rainbows. The joy on studentsโ faces was a direct reflection of the energy you brought.
To our families and wider community โ thank you for supporting our students, volunteering your time and helping create such a positive atmosphere throughout the event.
And finally, thank you for your extraordinary generosity.
Together, our community has raised almost $15,000 for East Adelaide School. That is an incredible achievement and a reflection of what can happen when a community comes together behind a shared goal.
The Colour Run may be over, but the fundraising isnโt quite finished yet! Donations will remain open until next Friday, so if youโve been meaning to contribute, there is still time to help us push our total even higher.
Most importantly, thank you for helping create a day filled with laughter, colour, connection and memories that our students will be talking about for a long time to come.
What a community. What a Crew. ๐๐

Today marks the start of National Reconciliation Week. ๐ค๐โค๏ธ
A time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. For the work of past generations and the benefit of future generations.
This yearโs National Reconciliation Week theme, All In, encourages all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

What a wonderful morning at our Motherโs Day and Special Carerโs Breakfast! ๐
After not holding a big Motherโs Day event for a number of years, it was so special to see our community come together again to celebrate the incredible mums, grandmothers, carers, and special people in our studentsโ lives.
A huge thank you to the amazing group of volunteers who arrived early to set up, cook, serve, and pack down. Your effort and generosity made the morning possible and created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our community. We couldnโt have done it without the support of Ashton Valley Juicery or our Governing Council!
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. It will definitely be a regular fixture on our calendar ๐ท
