🦅 Have you caught a glimpse of the fastest animal on the planet?

Peregrine falcons live in the Adelaide C*D. They’ve been recorded diving at prey at more than 300 kilometres an hour.

In Adelaide, you can find them in the heart of the city nesting on the ledges of tall buildings and feeding on pigeons and other birds.

Have you ever seen one?

Learn more about peregrine falcons and why they’re an important part of the ecosystem.

🦎 Our second volun-tour-ing adventure is closing in! This stop is at West Beach Dunes.

If you’ve been curious about volunteering but unsure where to start, this day is designed just for you. We take care of everything: transport, education, tools, gloves (PPE), and even lunch. All you need to do is hop on board.

West Beach Dunes is a site that has been selected as part of the Painted Dragon Re-wilding project and Threatened Flora species recovery project. Painted Dragons were once widespread along the Adelaide Metropolitan coastline but now this bright little lizard is endangered in the region. Like any native species, it’s important we do what we can to conserve and grow the population.

This Thursday! Join us to learn how having fun with wild ideas can help engage students with STEM and how we can give students the design and creative-thinking tools required to tackle the future and reinvent the world for the better.

In this inspiring professional development session, Steve Mushin shares ideas from his award-winning book, Ultrawild - exploring how imaginative thinking can spark meaningful conversations about the future of our planet.

Learn how bold, playful ideas can engage students in STEM, develop creative problem-solving skills, and empower young people to become designers, scientists, engineers, changemakers and wild thinkers.
