Bicycle Caire

Adelaide Adventure Day 7, wet the kiwi's brought the rain. Did the coast from Glenelg via the Old Gum Tree, dolphins at Henley Beach, through to Semaphore and two flat tyres. Stopped in Port Adelaide for coffee and to dry out a bit, then along Port Road to the city to Montefiore Hill to Colonel William Light statue. Into Adelaide Oval for a look and back to Glenelg to dry out and clean up. Total climbing for the trip 4918 vertical metres. Thanks for a great week guys showing you parts of South Australia.

Adelaide Adventure Day 6, transfer from Hahndorf to McLaren Vale and on the bikes. Rode the shiraz trail to Willunga, up the hill, and back down for coffee and a snack. Then out to Aldinga and onto Sellicks Beach and back to McLaren Vale from there. Took the group to the Cube and late in the day delivered to their accommodation in Glenelg. A few tired body's today.

Adelaide Adventure Day 5, cool day, Hahndorf to Lobethal, Lenswood, and up to Norton Summit. The pub was closed for renovations, so turned and went to Uraidla to the bakery. From there back to Balhannah, and the back way into Hahndorf. Afternoon spent visiting Beerenberg, Artwine, and Bird in Hand. Total climbing today just over 1100m.

Adelaide Adventure Day 4, we had a near miss with a kangaroo just out of Lyndoch. Got to Hahndorf safely and rode from Hahndorf out along River Road to Mylor, then up to Aldgate and Koala spotting and onto Stirling, and then up to Mount Lofty. From there worked our way through the hill to Wotton Wines and then worked our way to Hahndorf. Some good vertical metres climbed today.

Adelaide Adventure Day 3, cold start, rain, flat tyres, long day in the saddle. Finished the day off visiting a few of the Barossa Valley loctions. Last stop was Two Hands Wines for a tasting.

Adelaide Adventure Day 2, 6.0 degree start, Tanunda to Lyndoch for a coffee stop at the bakery, then onto Sandy Creek turn left and onto Whispering Wall. It's always interesting for anyone who hasnt been there. Climb out and onto Williamstown and back to Lyndoch, then back up through the centre of the Barossa. Spent the afternoon doing wine chocolate and beer for the tourists.

Day 1 Adelaide Adventure, pick up from city transfer to Barossa Valley and an afternoon ride. Treated to Menglers Hill, Angaston, Nuriootpa, Seppeltsfield, and back to Tanunda.

Bicycle Caire for the next two weeks is on tour. We are closed in the workshop and hosting a few international clients and friends for some riding experiences, wine tastings, brewery visits and sight seeing. We will be back on Monday 14th April.

Been some time between posts on Bicycle Caire but this one's worth doing. Working full time days at Jayco & at least there is this perk. We are loving the new Colours and Kit Jayco Alula girls and guys will be wearing this TDU. Lucky me got to be in the pic during the team visit to Jayco this week.
