An extra special Mother’s Day lunch ✨
I stumbled across this restaurant on my Instagram feed very randomly on Friday and immediately fell in love with it. Not only did the food look impeccable, but the name of the restaurant, Thelma, is the same as that of my nanna who passed a way earlier this year.
Since my mum couldn’t share Mother’s Day with hers, I thought it perfectly fitting that we go somewhere with nanna’s essence, even if it was only in the name.
What a beautiful afternoon it was ❤️
Thank you
I hit flow state

✨bottomless brunch✨
Highlights
- vibey venue
- great for large groups
- variety of beverages for the bottomless aspect
This was one of my go-tos whenever I have a large group of people looking for something easy. A vibey as hell venue meets an $85 bottomless brunch with pizza, pasta, cocktail jugs and pretty much whatever else you could want 🙌
Definitely a fabulous spot for your next lil hang out

Some recommendations for you ✨✨
My top favourites thus far are for SURE *tfacedshakespeare and Elixir Revived (both are comedies and I’m a hahaheehee kinda lady) 🤷♀️
I’m keen as HECK to see and ‘s late show later in the next couple of months which I’ve heard great things about. If you’re headed to the Fringe this year, I can happily recommend a good time at anything on this list, whatever your budget may be.
What have you seen and loved this year?

Valentine’s Day Gift inspo ✨✨
There are generally three tiers of gifts for those passionate in the ways of gift giving, which one you give is determined by how long you’ve known the person and how significant they believe the holiday to be. For example:
Tier 1: “nice” gifts 🌻
These are gifts that would be considered the ‘bare minimum’ if you’re in a long term relationship, or perhaps what you would give if you didn’t know the person for very long (eg. Flowers, a Valentine’s cake from , a dinner date)
Tier 2: Thoughtful Gifts 💌
This is where you show that you know the person and don’t necessarily need to be more expensive, just more thought out (eg. A flower picking experience or , a book they’ve been wanting to read, or a thoughtfully written note/card/letter)
Tier 3: a thoughtful, slightly more expensive gift ✨
A more expensive ‘nice gift’ (like an expensive ring) is kind of useless if it’s not tailored to that person (eg. getting them silver when they wear gold) so the last tier is for those who want to go a bit above and beyond. These could include things like personalised jewellery like the ones you get from , a piece of pottery with a personalised message like the one you can make , a local experience (I recommend looking at my Christmas guide for these), or a cupcake bouquet from .au.
When in doubt with gifts I always go for the trinity:
✨ something you want (a gift they’ve told you they need),
✨ something I want (like a piece of clothing you want to see them in) and
✨ something I think you’ll like (this is your best guess of what you think they’ll like)
Any questions then drop them in the comments! 👇👇👇

🍵 Adelaide’s Matcha Recommendations 🍵
So yall have been asking me for this for a WHILE so here you go 🔥
MY GO-TO SPOTS 🍵
🍵 absolute classic and great if you want a pure matcha that is made the right way (whisked) and is consistently smooth and delicious. I recommend adding a little bit of sugar or honey if you like something a little sweeter but a plain one is still really nice.
adl
🍵 a great honey-forward matcha that you won’t have to ask for anything extra, can literally order it as-is and the way they make it is divine. They were doing this hella nice matcha basque cheesecake that was the perfect complement also so absolutely recommend that too. Iced is probably my favourite way to have it.
adl
🍵 one of the first places I actually ever had matcha, theirs is perfectly sweetened naturally so you don’t have to ask for any adjustments ALTHOUGH if you wanna take it up a notch absolutely ask for a shot of their lavender syrup in your mug. It is OOF, so good.
🍵 OKAY so, personally, their natural matcha offering can be a little inconsistent, varying from too weak to too bitter to clumpy or smooth, it is really barista dependent. HOWEVER. If you order a matcha chocolate (secret item not on their menu) which, when described is like a mocha but with matcha instead of coffee, it is quite possibly the best thing in the WORLD. It is so comforting and delicious and divine and I am so addicted to it. Do yourself a favour and give it a try fr.
adl
🍵 The FIRST place I had one in Adelaide that I actually enjoyed, this place is so well suited for someone who wants to try matcha. It is perfectly creamy and, again, so well sweetened. Hot or cold is divine but it is absolutely worth trying.
HONOURABLE MENTION:
🍵 Okay SO I haven’t ✨technically✨ tried their normal matcha but what I HAVE tried is their matcha tiramisu latte. Which is insane. And good.
What matcha should I try next?
