The Friends of the Library is holding a Meet and Mingle event this weekend!

Join us for an afternoon of books, music, and conversation in the historic Barr Smith Reading Room, with music by Adelaide University Medical Orchestra (AUMO) students’ saxophone quartet. 🎷

Chat with new friends and the FOTL committee, and celebrate our shared love for books. The afternoon will wrap up with an opportunity to join a guided tour of the newly renovated Barr Smith Library and enjoy the Breaking Barriers exhibition.

We are celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month! 🧠 Between 7 – 10 October, visit Level 1A of the Barr Smith Library to share what wellbeing means to you by completing the sentence “Wellbeing, my way is…”. A professional illustrator will then bring your words to life in a live artwork that will evolve throughout the week. So come and enjoy a free coffee, contribute your voice, and watch the collective portrait of student wellbeing grow! ☕🎨
