Some jetties will be closed due to high tides and severe weather over the coming days.
Sea levels across the South Australian coast are forecast to be significantly higher than indicated on tide tables tomorrow (Tuesday, 2 June).
Abnormally high tides may result in waves washing over jetties.
Please exercise caution on open jetties.
Helping South Australians build safer road habits for life 🚲
Community road safety education initiatives across SA are being supported as part of the THINK! Road Safety Community Grants Program, supporting schools, councils and community organisations to deliver hands-on learning programs.
Programs include City of Salisbury, SA, Australia's road safety education initiatives at the Salisbury Road Safety Park, Bridgewater Primary School's walking school bus project and Marree Aboriginal School's road safety and cycling education program.
These projects and many others are helping create safer communities across the state. đź’›

During National Reconciliation Week 2026 (27 May – 3 June), we recognise that reconciliation is an ongoing journey for all of us. It is a time to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to reflect on how we can contribute every day.
This year’s theme, All In, calls on everyone to take part in reconciliation and reminds us that meaningful change comes from working together and taking action in our communities and workplaces.
Across the transport network and major projects, partnerships with Aboriginal communities are helping incorporate culture, storytelling and connection to Country into the places people move through every day.
This tram features artwork by Jaylene Ware, Presten Warren and Violet Buckskin, reflecting the importance of culture and storytelling in shared public spaces.
Jaylene Ware’s artwork will also feature in our upcoming Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan, continuing its presence across our work and services.
Together, we can continue to learn, connect and move forward.

Works are continuing at the Verdun Interchange Upgrade Project 🚧✅
One of the two South Eastern Freeway Interchange Upgrades currently underway to improve connectivity in the Adelaide Hills, this project will transform the Verdun Interchange into a full interchange.
This work includes excavation and site levelling activities across multiple work areas, including the future westbound exit ramp and eastbound entry ramp. To support the construction, traffic now diverts onto a temporary entry ramp.
Once complete, the new interchange will provide access to and from the South Eastern Freeway in all directions. 🛣️

This morning, the THINK! Road Safety Team joined the Pedestrian Council of Australia and South Australia Police at Kilkenny Primary School to help students build safe habits for their journey to and from school.
As part of the THINK! Road Safety Community Grants Program, students took part in a safe walk to school activation, learning practical road safety tips along the way.
Whether you’re driving, walking or riding, road safety is everyone’s responsibility. When you're on the roads, please slow down, stay alert and take extra care around schools and crossings to help keep our young pedestrians safe. 💛

Young voices driving powerful road safety messages 🏉💛
The Santos Aboriginal Power Cup brings together students from across South Australia through a unique program focused on education, wellbeing, connection and opportunity.
As part of the THINK! Road Safety Partnerships Program, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport is proud to partner with Power Community Limited to support this impactful initiative.
As part of the program, students were challenged to create a peer-targeted digital road safety campaign inspired by one of the Fatal 5 road safety themes - encouraging important conversations around safer choices on South Australian roads.
The top five student concepts will be showcased during the Santos Aboriginal Power Cup award ceremony, with the winning design to feature on the Super Screen at Adelaide Oval ahead of Saturday night’s Port Adelaide v Carlton clash.
A huge congratulations to all students involved for using creativity and storytelling to help spread life-saving road safety messages. đź’›

Meet Santosh, a Traffic Manager working on the Tram Grade Separation Projects.
Santosh’s role is to help create a safe working environment while keeping traffic moving and the project on track - whether that involves lane closures, reduced speeds or managing pedestrian access. His main goal is to make sure everyone gets home safely to their families.
