This dual-focused workshop will give you the blueprint to better support neurodistinct talent and design accessible spaces where everyone can thrive.

The Inclusion Blueprint is a dual training session:
- Part 1 explores accessible event planning.

"Disability arises from widespread barriers that exist in a world not designed to include everyone." 🫳🎤

Our Interim CEO, Tracey Wallace, spoke to the NDIS Joint Standing Committee, raising concerns about the current NDIS reforms and calling for a commitment to transition into a more inclusive and fair future for the NDIS and everyday life.

Watch Tracey give evidence to the NDIS Committee held in Adelaide on 7 October.

This is an opportunity for you to deepen your understanding and strengthen your impact in the workplace and everyday life.

Disability Inclusion Training: Next Steps builds on our Foundations training and is designed for people working or volunteering in local councils, community organisations, arts and culture, sport and recreation, emergency services, community health and wellbeing, and other community settings.

This free 90-minute online training will explore intersectionality, practical approaches to allyship, Universal Design and co-design, and ways to create meaningful and sustainable cultural change in your organisation or community.

Please note: Next Steps is designed for participants who have already completed our Disability Inclusion Training: Foundations.

When: Monday 19 October, 9:30am - 11am.

Tiffany has spent years building a sense of home and independence. Now, NDIS changes could put it all at risk.

For 13 years, Tiffany has lived independently in her own home, surrounded by neighbours and a community where she belongs.

It's where she feels safe, comfortable and in control of her life.

But cuts to her NDIS supports are threatening the independence she's worked hard to maintain, affecting her emotional wellbeing and ability to work, advocate and participate meaningfully in her community.

At the NDIS Committee hearing in Adelaide on 7 October, Tiffany reminded us that having the right support isn't just about meeting practical daily needs. It's about being able to live the life you choose.

People with disability deserve the support they need to live independently, stay connected to their communities and thrive.

At 19, Dr Ellen Fraser-Barbour travelled to India alone, despite being told her disability made it “too risky”.

But her story isn't just about taking risks. It's about independence, challenging assumptions and having the freedom to make your own choices. It's about claiming the dignity of risk.

In our first episode of Season 4 of the Purple Orange podcast, our producer, Carey Scheer, revisits the conversation she had with Ellen that would completely change the way she thought about disability.

Ellen, who sadly passed away earlier this year, was a passionate disability rights advocate, adventurer, colleague and friend. We're grateful to be able to share her voice and perspective once again.
