There were smiles all round when an unexpected furry friend came to visit our school grounds.
The timing was ideal for our Reception students, as their current Unit of Inquiry - How the World Works - focuses on the features of living things and explores how caring for our local environment, such as planting native vegetation, encourages the presence of native animals.

R U OK? Day
Thank you to all the students and staff who dressed in yellow for R U OK? Day. It was great to see everyone showing their support for mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Recently, an excited group of parents, their children and the Student Action Committee made their way to Mariner Oval to celebrate the opening of the newly installed playground.

The ribbon unfurling was undertaken by Mel Sandery and Sally Clarke, both who along with Debbie Foster, our Business Manager, have committed hours towards fundraising for the playground over the past few years.

The children have given the playground a big thumbs-up, with smiles a plenty.

This week, we're shining a spotlight on our wonderful SSO team and recognising the incredible contribution they make to our school.
Through their kindness, encouragement, flexibility and commitment, our SSOs support students in so many ways and help make our school a welcoming and supportive place to learn.
We truly value the care and energy you bring each day and the many ways you contribute to the learning, wellbeing and success of our students.
