Lockleys North Primary School

Congratulations to the boys on an outstanding performance at the Round 1 SAPSASA Knockout Soccer Carnival, advancing to the next stage of the competition undefeated after five games.

The team showed great determination and resilience throughout the day, competing fiercely in every match.

They produced some excellent passages of play that led to a number of terrific goals, including several from set pieces.

Defensively, the boys were equally impressive, working hard as a team and conceding just five goals across the entire carnival. Well done to all involved!!

On Wednesday, our Year 5 and 6 LNPS girls participated in the first round of the Statewide Knockout Soccer Competition. The day was a great success, with the team going undefeated in all their games.

A highlight was advancing to round 2 of the statewide competition prior to our final match, where the girls enjoyed a tightly contested practice game against Fulham North, our opponents for the next round. A brilliant early goal from Emily Petineris, scored from outside the box, put us ahead 1-0. Fulham North responded late, with the match finishing in a draw.
We are extremely proud of the team for demonstrating outstanding collaboration, sportsmanship and resilience throughout the day. This marks only the second time LNPS has progressed to the second round of the competition.

Our Mellor, Torrens and Festival Choirs were action at our Whole School Assembly last Friday!! What a performance from them!

Our students represented the school with determination, resilience and sportsmanship, competing strongly against some of the district’s best runners. We are incredibly proud of the way they challenged themselves, supported one another and embodied our school values throughout the day.

What’s On at LNPS – Week 6

We have another exciting week ahead at Lockleys North! Good luck to our students participating in the SAPSASA R1 KO Soccer on Wednesday, and we look forward to welcoming our future Reception students and families back for another Little Flyers Transition on Friday.

A reminder that AusKick and Code Camp continue this Tuesday afternoon.

A huge congratulations to Spencer (M4), Mahri (T19) and Ryan (F15) on receiving our May Aussie of the Month awards!!

These students have consistently demonstrated our school values and learner qualities through their positive attitude, commitment to learning, and respect for others. They are wonderful role models who lead by example and make a positive impact both in and out of the classroom.
