Have you seen the beautiful Easter egg display at Prospect Library? 🐣
In celebration of the Pysanka Festival, presented by SLAVA Ukrainian Cultural Centre Inc., these stunning giant eggs showcase the rich traditions and cultural heritage of Ukraine, highlighting the vibrancy of Australia’s multicultural community.
A pysanka is a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg, intricately decorated using a wax-resist method. Each design carries meaning, with the eggs symbolising fertility, renewal, and life.
Come by the library and take a closer look! ✨
