Wheaton, The Greens, 7/291 Angas St, Adelaide, SA 5000 Our movement is made up of hundreds of thousand of people across Australia fighting for a fairer, cleaner future. Together, we're building a brighter future, where we make corporations and billionaires pay their fair share of tax and prioritise investment in universal public services and ensure everyone has a job or an income they can actually live on. It's a future where governments stand with First Nations people to rectify the wrongs of the past and move forward united through a Treaty. A future where we tackle the underlying racism and sexism that has been build into the system. A future where we value our environment more that we value the profit that corporations make by destroying it. We champion big, evidence-driven solutions to solve the problems we're experiencing now, like economic inequality, poverty, and climate change. We have a plan to elect more Greens to build our influence and champion our values. Unlike the major parties, we refuse donations from big corporations, that means we rely on support from everyday people like you.

More destruction. More disruption. And a $96million price tag.

These guardians are part of what makes Adelaide so special. Can we afford to lose them? đź’”

Our people-powered movement just made election history đź’š

And we're just getting started.

To the 3,000+ incredible volunteers who just brought our strongest campaign ever to life - thankyou. Each and every one of you has filled us with hope for what's to come.

We'll never stop fighting for people, and the planet, and to make corporations pay their fair share - but we can't do this without you.

Did someone say STRONGEST CAMPAIGN YET!!!? đź’š

We’re beyond excited that soon we will be hearing Melanie Selwood’s powerful voice in Parliament, alongside Robert Simms. And, with The Greens best ever Legislative Council result, it’s looking promising for Katie McCusker too.

After running a powerful, joyful, grassroots campaign in Heysen – The Greens are still in the race. Whilst the final results are being counted, there is still a path to victory for Genevieve Dawson-Scott.

The support for The Greens has been growing. Our primary vote has grown, and so far we’re on track for significant swings, while outpolling the Liberals in several seats across the state.

It was all you. Across the state, thousands of people turned out to fight for hope over division. Together, we’ve just delivered the best results in The South Australian Greens’ history.

To our volunteers who’ve given their all - standing out on polling booths, delivering flyers, knocking on doors, making phone calls, and so much more - you made all the difference.

The next four years will be big.
Not just for parliament, but for our movement too.

The work isn’t over.
This is just the beginning of our bold vision for South Australia. Living here shouldn’t cost you the earth. Together, we’re pushing to fix that – and fight for stronger action on the climate crisis. Together, we can do this.

Thank you again for everything you’ve done to make this moment possible. Our grassroots movement is stronger than ever and we’re building something powerful.

Well done SA. We just made election history.

It’s official.

Melanie Selwood has been elected to the Legislative Council.

We cannot wait to hear her strong voice in parliament, pushing for action on the cost of living, housing affordability, and the climate crisis.

As she joins Robert Simms, with a track record of delivering for her community as Deputy Mayor in the Adelaide Hills, and being a leader in the arts, she knows how to turn ideas into action. We’re beyond excited to see what they’ll achieve together.

The next four years will be big.

In a time we’ve seen wealth inequality grow, our environment suffering, and politicians hellbent on dividing us, it’s powerful to see hundreds of thousands of South Australians stand up for hope, not hate.

You made this happen đź’š

Every doorknock, chat, phonecall, letterbox drop, and every minute you spent on the polling booths has gotten us to where we are today. You’ve made every single moment count – and you’ve made an impact that will last for years to come.

Now, our legislative council is one Greens member stronger, our movement is stronger than ever, and we're filled with hope for the future.

What a day 🌞

Thankyou so much to each and every one of you who has stood on a booth today, and through the rain and shine, right across the state this week to help us share a message of hope đź’š

As one of the biggest campaigns we've run in history comes to a head, we're so grateful to all of you who've letterboxed, made phonecalls, doorknocked, and stood up for what they believe in throughout this campaign. We couldn't do it without you.

Living in SA shouldn't cost you the earth, and every vote is a powerful step towards fixing that.

Together, we can do better for the state -- and for politics.

In solidarity,

Your SA Greens Team đź’š

This is our moment đź’š

Today, South Australia decides whether we have more of the same, or a future for all of us.

The question isn't who's going to form government anymore, it's who's going to keep them honest.

We're ready to hold Labor to account, and push for better for all South Australians.

Together, we can make this a state that puts people before profits, and makes sure no South Australian is getting left behind. Each and every one of us should be able to afford the basics, and we won't stop pushing until that's our reality.

We will always push to protect our climate and environment, so we can all enjoy our beautiful state for generations to come.

We're proud to be a people-powered movement, and we wouldn't be where we are today without each and every person who's spent time on a polling booth, doorknocked, letterboxed, made phonecalls, and spread the message of hope.

Your vote is powerful.
Together, we can push for better.

This is it - tomorrow's the big one.

As you head to the polls, remember your vote is powerful.

Every vote for the Greens is a vote for hope, not hate.
It's saying no, to letting one party call all the shots, or letting hate tear us all apart.
It's putting people first, and pushing for the things we need right now like:

🪙Real action on the cost of living
🏠 Affordable housing for all
🌏Climate action now
🌊Protecting our environment
🫶Standing up for peace

Whether you're joining us now, or you've been with us from the start, we cannot thank you enough for your support. Everything you’ve been doing - every doorknock, chat, phonecall, letterbox drop, and every minute on the polling booths has been building towards this moment.

Our movement is stronger than ever, and we're filled with hope thanks to each and every one of you who've joined us along the way.

Let's do this SA!

Together, we can push for better đź’š

Your vote is powerful đź’š

Voting #1 Greens in the upper house could be the difference between Labor calling all the shots, and more strong Green voices pushing for the things South Australians need most.

As someone with a track record as deputy mayor, and leader in the arts — Melanie Selwood is ready to pressure Labor to act, ask the tough questions, and push for real climate action now.

If you want change, you have to vote for it.
You can do better with the Greens.
