Any easy fix for Mali if he ‘turned his mind to it’.

😕 I HONESTLY have mixed feelings about today’s front page of The Advertiser.

✅ I’m GLAD that - predictably! - the issue of biological men in women’s prisons just WON’T go away.

😔 I’m also SAD that this issue is all over the front page next to the coverage of Christmas pageant! 🎄

🚨 This DIDN’T HAVE to happen - the government should have had this issue FIXED as a priority, straight after finding out about it!!

‼️ Instead of DISMISSING women’s safety as a “niche issue”, It’s time Peter Malinauskas followed the courageous lead of Lia Finocchiaro MLA - and made sure there can be NO biological males in women’s prisons in SA!

Thank you Leader Vincent Tarzia for calling out the Premier on this IMPORTANT issue.

Liberal Women's Council Community Forum November 13th 2025 21/10/2025

Hi Liberal Women,

We wish to invite you to a very important community forum that the Liberal Women's Council is hosting on Thursday 13th November, 6:30pm at The Regal Theatre, 275 Kensington Road, Kensington Park.

RESTORING WOMEN'S SEX-BASED RIGHTS AND PROTECTIONS

Special guest speakers include:
Sall Grover - Founder and CEO of Giggle for Girls
Stephanie Bastiaan - Head of Advocacy at Women’s Forum Australia
Senator Leah Blyth
Senator Alex Antic
Additional speakers to be announced soon ...

These speakers have been champions of this debate for many years.

We have seen a growing number of young girls having to compete in sports against boys, undermining their opportunities and jeopardising their safety.

We have a S*x Discrimination Commissioner that does not understand the meaning of a biological man. How can she defend women's rights?

We have collectively all watched in dismay as news broke of the alleged sexual assault of a young women by a biological male inside a South Australian prison. Where were her protections?

Rightly, the Chief Minister of the NT, Lia Finocchiaro came out strong and decisively, banning male offenders in the NT from women's prisons.

Our Premier came out with this response, "As Premier of this state, I can honestly say I have not turned my mind to our policy pertaining to trans prisoners... I would categorise it as a niche issue."

Women's rights are not a 'niche issue'. Keeping women safe is something we should all 'turn our mind to'. Come and join the discussion on how we arrived at this place and how do we go about restoring sex-based rights and protections for young girls and women.

Seats will be strictly limited, don't miss out, book your ticket using this link today https://www.trybooking.com/DGRSD

Please come along and invite your friends. Both men and women are welcome to attend. We need to fight together.

We look forward to seeing you at this community forum. Your voice matters!

Liberal Women's Council Community Forum November 13th 2025 We invite you to join the Liberal Women's Council and take part in an engaging and vital community forum. RESTORING WOMEN'S SEX-BASED RIGHTS...

Come on Mali, keep women safe!

It’s mind blowing that we have to ask the question. 🤯

Thanks Stephanie Bastiaan and the team at Women’s Forum Australia for your continued voice and advocacy in this area.

“Women's Forum Australia chief executive Rachael Wong called on Mr Peter Malinauskas to follow Ms Lia Finocchiaro MLA’s lead to ensure the “safety and dignity” of female prisoners in South Australia.

“No woman should ever fear being assaulted in her cell by a man, regardless of how he identifies,” she said.’

“Northern Territory Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro has committed to ensuring that all male offenders are housed in male prisons regardless of gender identity, setting a clear example of moral clarity and leadership.

“Peter Malinauskas should follow her lead and act immediately to safeguard women in South Australia’s prisons.”

💯💯💯

Sign the petition to restore women’s rights and protections.

In Australia, the law no longer defines “woman”, meaning there are no legally protected female only spaces.

That needs to change.

Sign my petition to restore women’s rights and protect our spaces.

✍️The petition link is in the comments.

Congratulations to Lamorna Alexander in Mount Gambier, and Rebekah Rosser in MacKillop who are our newly elected Liberal Candidates.

They are dedicated women with strong values and are ready to win back these seats 💪

In case you missed it, here is Senator Leah Blyth’s first speech.

We couldn’t be more proud!

Congratulations Leah, very well said. We know there will be many more incredible speeches that you will deliver.

Last night I had the honour of delivering my first speech to the Australian Senate. 🏛️🇦🇺

It was a moment I’ll never forget. A chance to reflect on the people and places that shaped me, and to set out the values and priorities I’ll be bringing to this role.

I’m deeply grateful for the trust placed in me to represent South Australia. This is just the beginning, and I’m ready to get to work.

Nicola Centofanti MLC
thank you for calling for more action from this Government to support our devastated farming communities.

Labor must act now!

Today, the Liberal Women’s Council passed this motion:

“The Liberal Women’s Council calls on the State Liberal Parliamentary Party to demand that Peter Malinauskas and the Labor Party declare the drought a state of emergency.”

Thank you to all the women who contributed to today’s powerful debate.

This motion, however, had no debate and was passed unanimously - because it’s the right thing to do.
