This week is NAIDOC week. Running from 3-10 July, NAIDOC Week is about recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We connected through play based activities.
🔵We used nature in art ( bark, gumnuts and leaves).
🟢Sensory Rice play in Aboriginal flag colours.
⚪️ We explored Australian animals.
⚫️We looked at Aboriginal art symbols and their meanings.
🟡Babies engaged in dot paintings using bingo markers.
🔴We read Dreamtime stories.
🔵We looked at Aboriginal music and dance.

This week we discovered Antartica.
The children battled through the cold Icy conditions to play with polar bears, penguins, seals and other sea life creatures. Mr C was so excited when he discovered an ice cave 🐧
