"Piran and Portoroz are two charismatic towns on Slovenia’s Adriatic coast. Piran is more on the historic site that lures visitors with its well-preserved medieval houses, winding cobblestone narrow old streets. Portoroz which means ‘port of roses’ – is the complete opposite of the first. It is a lively upmarket coastal resort known for luxurious hotels, spas and vivacious nightlife. Two different worlds but both are uniquely fascinating."

🇸🇮 Slovenia has unveiled a new generation of passports, combining cutting-edge security technology with a celebration of the nation's heritage.
The redesigned passport features more than 100 security elements, enhanced biometric protections, a colour photograph with advanced anti-counterfeiting measures, and a QR code for document verification. Existing passports remain valid until their expiry date.
The new design proudly showcases Slovenian identity, incorporating symbols such as Mount Triglav, the Vače Situla, Ljubljana's Robba Fountain, and elements from the national anthem, A Toast. Special holograms and artwork also commemorate key moments in Slovenia's journey to independence.
With over 771,000 valid Slovenian passports currently in circulation, the new document reflects both Slovenia's commitment to security and its rich cultural heritage.

"In a new study by the driver's education platform Zutobi, Slovenia came out on top as the best country for foreign drivers to road-trip through, due to its low road congestion levels and a high number of attractions. Slovenia also packs a myriad of stunning natural vistas in a relatively small area, offering "foreign drivers a delightful blend of natural beauty and road safety," per the study. Other reports echo this sentiment. According to travel blogger Adventurous Kate, Slovenia is an excellent road trip destination because "The country is tiny, the roads are good, and most of the popular attractions are clustered in the western half of the country, making many destinations within a 90-minute drive.""
