Thanks to the team LJ Ellery Roofing for giving the front of the squad an upgrade. It has been many many years since the front of the squad looked this good.

Over the weekend we were proud to be formally handed our new rescue appliance. This truck will boost our capability and capacity to respond to incidents across the region.

We also took the opportunity to formally recognise one of our members Peter Adams, who has served the squad for 60 years. This is an amazing achievement and Pete continues to serve the squad.

Big thank you to VRA Rescue NSW Commissioner, Brenton Charlton and Jihad Dib MP for providing the funding for this vehicle.

We often work closely with Paramedics to ensure patient health at incidents. Today we recognise the hard working Doctors across the state and country including our very own Dr Joe!

The Mitta Mitta Canoe Club Frank Harrison Memorial Race is underway again today, running from the Weir Wall to Noreuil. Our volunteers are out on the water providing a safety crew to help keep competitors safe.

Throughout the year, we support a wide range of community events just like this, and we’re always looking for new volunteers to get involved.

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering and giving back to your community, now is the perfect time. Not everything we do involves front-line emergency response, there are plenty of ways to contribute and make a real difference.

Our volunteers are on the water today supporting the Mitta Mitta Canoe Club race from the weir wall to Noreuil. If you see the Kayaks or our crew give them a wave!
