Out with the old, in with the new. Yep, the library has had a cleanup and the books have been refreshed. Enjoy !

This week's fresh books. Apologies for the lack of posts lately.

For the next few weeks at least, I am going to try opening the library up fully each Saturday, and restocking the shelves with recent arrivals on Saturday only. The rest of the week, I'll restock with older books.

Enjoy! And if you want a particular title that's not available when you visit, message me and I'll put it aside for you.

Hey everyone, I discovered today that the Book Exchange in Ocean Street sometimes sells books stamped with Alex Street Library.

The owner told me as much, and she didn't see it was a problem.

Please remember that the books in Alex street library aren't intended for reselling once you've borrowed them. They have been dropped into the library with the intention of them being continually shared with the community.

Borrow them for as long as you like, as many at a time as you wish, but then please return them to either Alex Street library or any other street library near you, so someone else can borrow them.

Street Libraries are not for people to profit from. If you are visiting Alex Street library with the intention of getting books to sell, please stop visiting.
