In our second YouTube video cousins Ellie and Ryan visit our Eco Park and get the full Kangaroo Island experience. From lighting a massive bonfire, to kayaking Chapman RIver, and even attending a local music festival nearby. We were also joined by Kiki and Martim, the new backpackers working at the cabins, all the way from Portugal. We sit down for a chat with them, and also update you on what’s been happening at the Park. Thanks for watching! 🚜🔥🎶

French backpacking duo, Lou and Antione, or endearingly known to us as ‘Team France,’ took great care of the Eco Park from June to September whilst Amanda and Ken were away visiting daughter Kimbo in WA - but that didn’t mean tools down at the park! The vision continued to take shape as Lou and Antione progressed with refurbishing tasks like oiling wood, painting bed frames, assisting with the new shed build and DIY (or as Antione likes to say, D.I.Why?) projects. Lou also created instructional graphics to help future team members learn the processes of maintaining the park and its infrastructure. Although they were working hard – it’s great to see they also enjoyed that Creek Bay Eco life! Whether it’s going for a kayak at Chapman River just across the road, having a beach walk or enjoying a delicious barbecue outside, the park is a place to get back to what really matters. 🏕

We've transported five picnic tables from the Oyster Farm Shop in American River to the Eco Park! We are excited for them to become part of the Eco Park, providing even more opportunity for guests to connect with nature. They were made by a friend of a friend with plantation pine, and have since been lovingly sanded and oiled by Morgane. There's nothing better than a outdoor bbq or a platter of local produce enjoyed amongst the trees, with the sounds of waves breaking and birds singing. 🐦 🍲

The paving of our camp shelter is the start of many upgrade projects planned for the Eco Park. We have wanted to put a floor in the camp shelter for years, and with the help of Morgane and Joe we finally did it! The duo had never paved before so this was one of the many new skills they picked up during their time at the park. The camp shelter is a place where campers will be able to gather, and is ideal for group bookings. 🏕🦘
How wonderful it is to see our Eco Park transform! 🌿💌
