Happy World Tourism Day. This year's World Tourism Day celebrates "Tourism for All" to highlight both the importance and immense benefits universal accessibility has and can bring to society at large. We are very proud to have available an all terrain wheelchair on the Great Ocean Walk. http://go.vic.gov.au/cCZbVH

TRACK CONDITIONS ALERT: WATER SUPPLY
GREAT OCEAN WALK
Tuesday January 12th, 2016
The Otways has been experiencing unseasonal dry weather, and as a result a number of the rainwater tanks along the Great Ocean Walk are now empty, while the levels in others is extremely low.
Untreated rainwater is collected in tanks at the Great Ocean Walk hikeāin campgrounds, and Parks Victoria endeavour to top up the tanks when possible.
However, Parks Victoria cannot guarantee rainwater availability at each campsite.
Hikers are responsible for their own water requirements, and due to the weather conditions Parks Victoria recommends that hikers arrange water drops if possible.
Parks Victoria ask that hikers use this valuable resource wisely and do not waste it by washing dishes under a running tap, or using the water to wash sand off your feet etc.

I love the Great Ocean Walk such incredible diversity in coastal form and vegetation class. Can you believe that just 10km further on this trail will bring you to the giant limestone 12 Apostles sea stacks?
