Happy World Teacher’s Day. Although some of our staff may not hold the “official” qualification of a teacher all our staff are involved in the education of our students. Thanks to all our staff who go above and beyond each day - your work doesn’t go unseen.

Creating a little bit of history today. Quite some time ago the students collected seeds from the “Biggest Flowering Gum in the Southern Hemisphere” and our gardener was able to propagate a few. Today was the day we planted them out in the community. The first one is located at Federation Corner and the second one up at the cemetery for everyone to admire. Let’s hope they grow and flourish like the old one.

While some students were cooking Liam, Ferg, Percy and Harry were busy preparing and repainting the six square lines. Watch this space for the final outcome. Looking good so far.

Fathers Day Breakfast. What a great morning with bacon and egg rolls (cooked by Liam) and delicious coffee made by Janeo. A few competitive challenges including longest golf drive (won by Chubba) hand ball competition (won by legend Ollie) and spaghetti tower building (won by Damon and Alex) Amazing how a little competition can create some major interest. Thanks for all the dads and grandparents for coming along. Enjoy your special day on Sunday.
