📚 Join Dr Hannah Gould at Pomonal Community Hall for a conversation about her book, ‘How to Die in the 21st Century’, on Saturday 17 October, from 2–4pm. This free community event welcomes everyone, with afternoon tea provided.

A death scholar from the University of Melbourne, Dr Gould will explore why we’re reluctant to talk about death and dying, along with death legalities and ‘green death’. There’ll also be an opportunity to ask questions afterwards.

The event is endorsed by the Pomonal Progress Association. For more information, contact Claire on 0404 157 503.

🐱 Do you recognise this friendly fellow?

Council’s Community Safety team collected a young male ginger tabby from the vets yesterday. He’s super friendly but isn’t microchipped or desexed, so we need your help to find his owner.

If he’s yours or you know who he belongs to, please call Council’s Community Safety team on (03) 5355 0200.
