Transport affordability and congestion are going backwards under the LNP.

The Crisafulli LNP Government have delayed investment, stalled construction, and condemned Queenslanders to a generation of congestion.

Our fuel spikes are the most expensive in the country, and Queensland motorists are losing weeks sitting idling in traffic day in, day out.

Queenslanders should not be disadvantaged by distance, reliability or a government that doesn’t deliver equitable transport.

Queensland needs a transport network that works for all, not just some.

So today we are releasing 'Slow Lane: A State of Congestion', our issues paper on transport in Queensland.

It was fantastic to celebrate 50 years of the Port of Brisbane!

The Port contributes approximately $11 billion to Queensland’s economy and supports more than 73,000 jobs, including over 10,000 within the Port precinct.

It was great to meet with the Port of Brisbane at Parliament House to recognise this important milestone and discuss the Port’s contribution to Queensland.
